I would like to reiterate something.I promise you that I understand that through these pages there may be some moments that will make you feel overwhelmed and some pieces that may be triggering. Whether you have been a person who has experienced it or have been affected by it, both are equally traumatic. But this, this is something that is for you and I can prove it. I won't go with the obvious reason that this book found its way to your hands. I made this for the ones that know what it's like to be faced with choosing death and being content with it because it seems better than anything else. I made this for the ones who have been forgotten. I made this for the ones who have been hurt so many times that the nerve endings have been destroyed and all that is left is to feel numb. I made this for the ones who are still here and for the ones that are unfortunately gone.This isn’t therapy but I can promise you that it is therapeutic. This has gone through its own version of healing and can be the opportunity to help you start yours. The way these words have found you is the same way you can find peace. Within these pages and between these words, you will find humanity and an unfiltered experience. So please believe me when I say that I wrote this for you and only you. And sometimes you may find other people’s pages in your book but that just means that you now have the resources to help them as well. We need this. We need each other.
